The presentation of design ideas and associated considerations

This section starts from the point where the Specification and the evaluation criteria have been completed.

It ends at the point before plans are made to create or make what has been decided.

Art and Design, Design Technology and ICT are areas of the curriculum that are specifically written and taught to give pupils the opportunities to develop their drawing and presentation communication skills and learn how to organise and use them effectively in project work.

These skills and processes are important transferable skills. What a pupil may learn and do in these essential curriculum areas must also be applied to the work produced in other subjects.
